The Washington Park Advisory Council is always open to donations.
We are a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Funds we raise go to benefit programs, events & items that are in the park, but are not funded, or only partially funded by the Chicago Park District, the City of Chicago or other third party organizations. Any donation specified for a set fund raiser will be used strictly for that purpose.
Currently we can only except check or cash donations.

We prefer cash donations to be made in person at our monthly meetings.
Currently we are working on raising funds for;
The Boating Program -
We are looking to raise $2500, by Fall of 2009 to pay for storage rental & restoration of a pair of vintage 1930
rescue boats, that would be used as part of a youth boating program that was formerly running at Washington Park in the lagoon. The Program was aimed at teaching kids proper water safety as well as boat maintenance. Program participants who qualify may go onto further boating programs on Lake Michigan.
